HOPE: The summer will definitely come back. 2019. For two decades I have been working sporadically on groups of works with the main titles ‘HOPE’ and ‘HOPELESS’. With ‘HOPE: the summer will definitely come back’ I present another work that fits into this topic. The group I created in 2019 – consisting of seven hand thrown vessels in different sizes and shapes – is dedicated to the melancholy I have had since childhood: It always comes when the summer comes to an end.
